Xbox backwards compatibility of Xbox 360 games was Microsoft's big surprise back at E3 2015, and since debuting the feature later that year, the publisher rolled out new releases on a month-by-month basis.

Though Microsoft wound down its original Xbox and Xbox 360 back compatible efforts in mid-2019 in favour of Xbox One support for Xbox Series X - which also supports a range of improvements - there was one final update in November 2021 as part of Xbox's 20th anniversary celebrations, adding another 76 games and adding additional enhancements to existing ones.

While both downloadable and disc-based Xbox 360 and original Xbox games work on Xbox One and Xbox Series X, only selected games are supported on a case-by-case basis. From fan-favourite Xbox Live Arcade games to some of the biggest Xbox 360 exclusives such as Gears of War 3 and Halo: Reach, the roster represents a wide selection of some of Xbox's greatest hits.

As well as the above lists of supported Xbox One and original Xbox games, the Xbox Series consoles also offers backwards compatibility to Xbox One games and peripherals (including the Xbox Elite Controller and Xbox Adaptive Controller) in what Microsoft describes as "our most powerful and compatible console ever".

In November 2021, as part of Xbox's 20th anniversary celebrations, over 70 new titles were added from the original Xbox and Xbox 360. These were confirmed to be the last backwards compatible games to be introduced on later Xbox consoles "due to licensing, legal and technical constraints".

The experience varies from game to game. According to Digital Foundry's report, all titles receive some baseline improvements - such as the elimination of screen tear "completely on every title" - through to any disc access operations tending to "have less of an impact on performance", meaning Mass Effect's elevator load times and Fallout 3's hitches are reduced.

However, while less demanding games such as Braid and N+ perform flawlessly, the more CPU-heavy titles do struggle, with Halo: Reach and Gears of War: Judgement singled out as games that suffer in the emulation process.

During sporting events, alcohol can be purchased at concession stands or at several kiosks located throughout the concourse. Locations will vary depending on the event. Alcohol sales end at the start of the last period of play for basketball and hockey games. Guests are welcome to take their drinks back to their seats for most events. If you have any questions or concerns regarding an alcohol issue, please contact your nearest Guest Experience attendant or Security.

While subscribed, new games which are added to the service will be automatically added to your collection if you don't already own them, with the ownership status set to 'Xbox Game Pass'. Similarly, when games are removed from the service they will be removed from your collection if you haven't started them. If your subscription ends, press the button again to remove all relevant games which you haven't started.

It's been a long time since Left 4 Dead 2 had friends banding together to ward off legions of the undead. That was back in the Before Times. (Not before the pandemic, back before Valve stopped making games. Wocka wocka wocka!) A lot of things have gone wrong in 2020, but one of the few positive things to come from this wretched is the L4D2 community coming together to build a full-blown Left 4 Dead 2 update that has received Valve's blessing. Not only is there new Left 4 Dead 2 content to play through, but Steam is offering the full game to play for free this weekend.

Once more from the Reddit thread, Broke_And_P2W talks about how people were under the impression that the paid items would be cosmetic only, and thus praising the monetization system. While the game does not have a PVP system as of yet, players simply do not want these aspects to be present in the game.

This Tweet is considered a mocking jab at Diablo Immortal, so for Torchlight: Infinite to have apparent pay to win systems that are considered on par with DI are disappointing fans even more. As this is a closed beta, there will still be time to change. We will have to see if the myriad of suggestions are taken into consideration and changes are made, but for now, you can at least try the game for yourselves and see how you like it.

I enjoyed what I played at the time, and was impressed by the exquisite soundtrack, the broad scope of the game design, the incredible translation (it puts most Final Fantasy titles to absolute black burning shame!) and other aspects that set the baseline for what turned out to be a highly enjoyable MMORPG experience.
