Buy Nfl Tickets 2013 [WORK]

Attending NFL football games have become incredibly expensive over the last decade. When you add all the additional costs associated with attending the game (parking, concessions, etc) on top of the ticket price, fans can easily spend over $600 for a day at the game. This might make one assume that only senior-level executives and other older professionals would have the luxury of attending. On the contrary, most people that attend NFL games are in the 18-34 age group. These individuals are within the income range of $100,000 or more. A study conducted in 2014 discovered that the cheapest NFL ticket was $146.53 to attend a Cleveland Browns football game. Personally, I would assume that older people with a higher income would be most likely to buy tickets and attend NFL games, but it appears that a younger, wealthier crowd dominates ticket sales. The data listed below is pulled from Sports Business Research Network.

The lack of interest in tickets to the 2013 Super Bowl was also attributed to venue fatigue. The 2013 Super Bowl took place at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans for a record-breaking seventh time. As such, there was a distinct possibility that fans decided to give New Orleans a miss and save their cash to experience new venues at future Super Bowls.

In the days immediately before the Super Bowl, tickets were available on StubHub from around $2000; however, these were for seats located in the upper benches of the stadium. To secure a seat in the lower levels, Fans were paying around $3000 a ticket. The coveted tickets on the sidelines were fetching in the region of $7000 in the two weeks before Super Bowl Sunday. For the princely fee of $10,129, fans secured seats in the fourth row of section 141, around the 40-yard line.

While many citizens are outraged with how pro sports venues are financed, and fans are disgusted by the extortion-like practices used by team owners, there is a very simple reason why PSLs have spread over the years: Fans want tickets so badly they are willing to pay the fee.

Overall, the average discount for NFL pre-season games compared to regular season games was 64%. As the chart to the right illustrates, 13 teams had greater than a 70% discount and only three teams had less than a 50% discount. All but one of those teams has an average price during the regular season of under $150. Texans tickets have an average regular season price of $250, but they also had the most expensive pre-season average price, at $132. The Vikings had the greatest discount at 81%; and at $27 the lowest pre-season average. Lions tickets, Bengals tickets, Bills tickets are the only other teams that had more than a 70% discount, and a regular season average price below $150.

Over the last 13 years, teams with a 2-2 pre-season record have reached the Super Bowl most often (nine). That fact bolsters the argument that the pre-season games matter little, but carries all the risk, at the box office and on the field. That said, only one team that went 0-4 has ever made it to the Superbowl, so perhaps they matter a little. To fans that spend their hard-earned money, however, they cost just as much, and have been a sore point for years. That will likely change next year. By the time the market for SuperBowl tickets is active, we may know by how much.

I will be covering the Rams and the Chargers for forbes.com, two teams of which I have a long association with. I grew up with the Rams going back to when Roman Gabriel was the NFL's MVP in 1969 and Merlin Olsen was a perennial All-Pro. I was in the Rose Bowl at SB 14 when the Rams led the mighty Pittsburgh Steelers, 19-17, going into the fourth quarter. We know how that turned out but my connection with the Rams never dissipated. I was thrilled to write, \"Game Of My Life Rams,\" as the team's legends picked their favorite contests. I covered the Chargers from 1992-2013 for two San Diego newspapers. I also was the author of \"Game Of My Life Chargers,\" in which the organization's greatest players selected their most significant outings. That both teams have returned to LA, and I get to cover them, is really cool.

The surveys were sent to season-ticket holders and those on the team's waiting list. For the fans who didn't buy playoff tickets, the survey asked why they chose not to and where they watched the game instead. The surveys differed slightly based on level of financial commitment to the team.

Six days before the Packers' wild-card playoff game against the San Francisco 49ers, the Packers -- known for their rabid fan base and legendary waiting list of more than 100,000 fans -- had 40,000 tickets to sell.

After receiving an extension from the NFL, the Packers finally sold out the Jan. 5 game just two days before kickoff. The game sold out and the local TV blackout was lifted thanks to Packers sponsors and three Fox TV stations buying blocks of tickets. The Packers lost the game 23-20.

Initially, Packers season-ticket holders were given a chance to buy tickets for the game by Dec. 4. After disappointing sales, the team gave season-ticket holders a second chance to buy seats by Dec. 30 before putting them on sale to the public.

Going into the 2021 season, the Charlotte 49ers have rebranded the Seats for Soldiers program to Seats for Service to better recognize those that serve our country and community. You can help provide these community service men and women with tickets to 49ers Football games for $10 each.

The 2023-24 season is a few months away, but fans still look forward to purchasing tickets to watch their favorite players in action. That brings the question: when is the best time to purchase game day tickets?

The best time to purchase tickets is before the match day when resale tickets are on sale for cheap. Furthermore, there's data to prove that, as in Finacebuzz, Wild Card, and Divisional rounds, tickets are 22-33% less expensive on game day. That doesn't just apply to earlier postseason games, as it's reported that Super Bowl tickets are a remarkable 44% cheaper on game day.

Purchasing tickets on the game day allow fans to watch their favorite players in action and is an excellent way for retailers to recoup some cash. This is a tried, tested, and trusted method of savoring live action, and it looks like it will be around for a while.

Now with a competitive roster, it's time to hear what roles Chiefs head coach Andy Reid sees the drafted players serving in 2013. Below are the quotes from coach Reid, discussing each of the eight drafted players.

Tickets to major sporting events can be expensive and hard to get your hands on. To find decent seats at reasonable prices, it helps if you know how and when to look for tickets, and learn how to navigate the secondary market. In addition to big-ticket events, there are plenty of alternatives that will leave you entertained and enthralled by the sporting action without leaving a gaping hole in your wallet.

Yes, and no. Most tickets are attainable if a fan has a little know-how. Cost is obviously a factor, but timing can be just as important, which is why knowing when leagues typically distribute tickets can be the key to attending the events you are interested in.

The image of a shady transaction outside of an arena, where hushed tones are uttered and stacks of cash are exchanged, is slightly out of date even if scalpers definitely still exist. Many arenas now provide zones where the reselling of tickets is permitted, which brings the process more above-board. Fans willing to risk showing up with no guarantee of getting into the event might save some money using this method versus using an online ticket marketplace, but they will also forfeit the protection that those major companies provide should you end up with a fraudulent ticket.

Nearly every day of the year professional sporting events are played in the United States. In the sea of options available to fans of the various sports, knowing where and when to purchase tickets is a huge advantage for those not lucky enough to have season tickets. 041b061a72
